Proverbs 22:6 – Train up a child in the way he should go, even when he is old he will not depart from it.
As a mom of young children, I love finding different ways to teach and reinforce Biblical truths. The resources you’ll find under the For Families category are things I do with my own family. I enjoy sharing them in hopes that they can be a helpful tool for other families as well.
What is “RAMP It Up”?
RAMP it up is a method to help young kids dig deeper into the world, making it more real to them and helping it stick with memorable activities.
RAMP stands for Read, Apply, Make it Stick, and Pray.
Every study begins with specific Bible references in the Read section. The Apply section features age-appropriate discussion points and questions to foster conversation between parents and children. In the Make it Stick section you’ll find opportunities for hands-on reinforcement, such as crafts and activities, that help kids remember what they’ve learned. And each study ends with prayer, encouraging the habit of prayer in association with reading the Word.
The resources you’ll find under the Bible Studies section are short series, developed for women. Check the post titles for series and order.
