For Families

Proverbs 22:6 – Train up a child in the way he should go, even when he is old he will not depart from it.

As a mom of young children, I love finding different ways to teach and reinforce Biblical truths. The resources you’ll find under the For Families category are things I do with my own family. I enjoy sharing them in hopes that they can be a helpful tool for other families as well.

Every study includes four parts to “RAMP up” learning – Read, Apply, Make it Stick, and Prayer. This method is designed to help young kids dig deeper into the Word, making it real to them and helping them retain what they learn with memorable activities.

You’ll begin with specific Bible references in the Read section. The Apply section features age-appropriate discussion points and questions to foster conversation between parents and children. In the Make it Stick section you’ll find opportunities for hands-on reinforcement, like crafts, recipes, activities, and games, all to help kids remember what they’ve learned. Each study ends with prayer, encouraging the habit of prayer in association with reading the Word.

The resources you’ll find under the Bible Studies section are a collection of mini-series studies, developed for women. Check the post titles for series and order.
