We’re down to our last few days of school before summer vacation begins. As we look forward to all the fun of summer, I’m also thinking about ways to continue growing and learning about the Lord and His Word together with my girls.
I wanted to offer one last resource from the Little Disciples series we did this year. I’ve taken parts of the whole 10 month study and condensed it (a lot!) into an 8 week series of lessons. If you followed along with us all year, you won’t find anything new here. But, if you didn’t join in during the school year, this is a great opportunity to work through some of the foundational pieces over the summer.
As was the case with the full study, this summer pack uses the “RAMP up” method with prompts to read, apply, make it stick, and pray, as well as weekly memory verses. You’ll find a new lesson each week with topics that build upon one another, guiding children from the starting point of the authority of Scripture, to the ending challenge to go out into the world wearing the armor of God.

Also, if you’d like to try something different, especially geared toward the 2-5 year old range, take a look back at my Family Summer Bible Challenge from five years ago (can’t believe it’s been that long!). You can begin at this post where you’ll find background information on the study, a downloadable calendar and verse, and links to all the blog posts associated with the study.
